Tall Poppy Advisory is a strategy firm founded in Dublin in 2026. We exist for the companies in the middle of the market: big enough to matter, small enough to move, and too often overlooked by the firms that advise the largest companies.

The name
Why Tall Poppy
In Ireland, Britain and Australia, "tall poppy syndrome" describes the habit of cutting down whoever stands out. Our view is the opposite. Industries improve when someone is willing to stand out, say what everyone has learned to live with, and fix it.
Our mark is a poppy seen from above: four overlapping petals and a dark centre. It is meant to be simple, a little unexpected, and easy to remember.

Philip founded Tall Poppy Advisory in Dublin in 2026 and leads every engagement.
He also runs Needlemark, software that checks what AI assistants and search engines say about a business and prepares corrections for the owner to approve. That work is where our view on AI-answer visibility comes from.
How we work
An AI-native firm, run like one
We practise what we recommend. Our research, analysis and software are produced with AI tools under the founder's direction, and every source, figure and line of code is checked by a person before it reaches a client or this website.
That is why our phases are measured in weeks, and why we can take on the detailed evidence work that a mid-market firm rarely has time for.
