Approach
Find the weakness. Design the fix. Prove it in your numbers.
Large consultancies sell broad programmes to large companies. We do something narrower and, for a mid-market firm, more useful: we find one thing that is costing you money, prove it, and build the system that fixes it, in three phases of a few weeks each.
The engagement model
Three phases. A fixed scope and fee for each. A decision at the end of each.
Phase 1 · 2–3 weeks
Diagnostic
We learn your market as a buyer, a competitor and an operator, and name the one leak with the largest, fastest, most measurable return.
What you get
- Evidence pack: public reviews and forum posts coded by theme, competitor prices and promises, response-time tests
- AI-answer baseline: who ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google name in your market
- The leak, costed, with every assumption stated
- A decision memo: go, conditional go, or no-go
You decide whether to design the fix.
Phase 2 · 2–4 weeks
Design
We design the AI-native workflow around your team: what software does, where a person decides, and how it is measured.
What you get
- Target workflow, from first contact to cash
- A written specification with acceptance tests
- Human checkpoints and a data-protection assessment
- Pilot plan: one metric, a baseline and a 30-day test
- Fixed price for the build
You decide whether to build it.
Phase 3 · 4–8 weeks
Build & pilot
We build the system in small, tested steps, run it with real customers and report the numbers against the baseline.
What you get
- Working software on your brand and your channels
- Pilot with real customers, with human review of anything uncertain
- Weekly numbers against the baseline
- Runbook, handover and training for your team
You decide whether to scale, extend or stop.
Durations are what each phase is designed to take for a single workflow in a mid-market firm. We confirm them, with the fee, before a phase starts.
Principles
How we think
Evidence before opinion
We start with what customers actually say and do: public reviews, forum threads, published prices and the answers AI systems give about your market. Every claim we make to you comes with its source.
One leak at a time
A long list of recommendations is a way of avoiding a decision. We pick the leak with the largest, fastest, most measurable return and fix that first.
AI-native, not AI-added
We redesign the workflow around what software now does well, such as reading photos, pricing from rules, booking and following up, and keep people where judgement, safety and trust matter.
Human checkpoints by design
Before anything is built, we agree where a person must approve. Nothing uncertain reaches a customer without a named person checking it.
Built, not slideware
The output of an engagement is a working system tested with real customers, against acceptance tests agreed up front.
What we need from you
A small team, for a short time
- An owner. One decision maker who can say yes at the end of each phase.
- An operator. The person who runs the workflow today, for a few hours a week.
- Access to the numbers. Enough data to set a baseline, such as enquiries, quotes, jobs and timings, shared under a written agreement.
Questions
Frequently asked
Who does the work?
Every engagement is led by our founder, Philip Marley. We are an AI-native firm ourselves: research, analysis and software are produced with AI tools under his direction and review, which is part of why our phases are short.
How is it priced?
Each phase has a fixed scope and a fixed fee, agreed in writing before it starts. For build and pilot work, part of the fee can be linked to the agreed metric where both sides want that.
Who owns what you produce?
You do: the evidence pack, the specification, the software and the runbook.
What about our data?
We use the minimum personal data the work needs, agree in writing how it is handled, and design human checkpoints and data protection into every workflow. You remain the controller of your customers' data.
Can we stop?
Yes. Each phase ends with a decision, and there is no commitment beyond the phase you have agreed.
Do you only work in Ireland?
We are based in Dublin and our first teardown is Irish. The method works in any market, and we work remotely wherever the client is.
